Fiat 500 Car

Fiat 500

For the people who wish to make a style statement, the Fiat 500 just fits in right. The Fiat 500 is all about styling, comfort and oomph. This is completely different entity from the Fiat car that we knew decades back. It speaks of class and money. It fits into the small car segment and still is quite overly prized from the others in the category. It has no fear of competition but of class and it is hear to spice it up all.

Pricing

The Fiat 500 boasts of modern design and retro look. As you see the Fiat 500 driving on the road, you cannot miss it for just the looks and the design. It is sure to catch everyone’s attention. Talking of the design, you can customize your car according to your choice. The pricing is a whopping 14.82 lakhs ex-showroom, New Delhi. So, this gets you the answer of the highest degree of customization that the video configurator on the website enables you. Not just the design part, but the Fiat 500 has also successfully bagged 5-star Euro NCAP rating.

Interiors

The first eye catcher as you get into the car is the body colored dashboard and the ivory colored center console and steering wheel. This is quite unique to the Fiat 500 and is a welcome change. The good ones first- the seats are comfortable and have enough head room and leg room. The rear seats are easy to access and can be good with children, especially on longer journeys. The air conditioner is big and audio buttons are handy to use. The glove box is big but does not have a cover. One can also choose to have a glass sunroof as a part of the customization, although, it does not open. The downsides are that the simple features like the auto headlamps, wipers etc are missing. The seat height adjustment is missing. On the first impression, it seems extremely classy. The vehicle body is quite tough and well built. Overall fit and finish is more than you ask for.

The Drive

The Fiat 500 is excellent for city drive and comfortable enough for the highway drives. The 1.3 liter Multijet diesel engine gives a good performance and handling, though you miss the petrol version. One can quite nicely breeze in to the city traffic and it also has a parking assistance in form a switch on the steering. As you increase the vehicle speed, the Fiat 500 gives you more confidence of handling. The vehicle stability is good and the eight airbags, ABS, EBD and optional ESP leave no room for safety worries. The suspension is one area where Fiat 500 can work upon; otherwise the refinement is quite impressive.

Rating

Other than the exorbitant price of Fiat 500, all features are quite remarkable. I would give it a 6/10.
